Movie Plot: Wicked outworld emperor Shao Kahan opened a portal for earthelism (earth) and resurrected the long-dead mother of his queen Sindal, Princess Kitana. So within six days earthelism is in danger of being absorbed into the outerworld, a fate that ruled the heroes of mortal kombat champion Liu Kang and other economy must fight to stop. When Kahen, the Thunderbolt god and earthworm defender kills Johnny Cage during a confrontation with Radden (the magic of Reden in the film), he and the remaining earthly warriors must reassemble and find a way to defeat Shao Kahan.
The emotionally distraught Sonya Blade helps her special forces partner, Jackson. Together they destroy the Sayres, later in an ensuing battle, Sonya killed Melena. Kitana and Liu discover a Native American showman called Nightwolf, which appears to be key to defeating Kahan. With the help of Kitana and Liu sub-zero (the younger brother of the original film seen) the robot destroys ninja smoke, but the scorpion suddenly appears, attacks the sub-zero, and kidnaps Kitana.
